Norman Regional Nine
Our first completed project of the Inspire Health Plan. Norman Regional Nine is a freestanding emergency department plus created to meet the expanding healthcare needs of residents in the fast-growing area of southeast Norman.
Porter Health Village
We’re changing our focus of the Porter campus from sickness to wellness by offering mixed-use health and lifestyle services at the location of the current historic campus.
Behavioral Health
We’re creating standalone behavioral health hospital on the reimagined Porter campus to help meet the mental health service needs of our community.

Norman City Council Unanimously Approves Norman Regional Expansion Plans
On Tuesday, Feb. 23, the Norman City Council voted unanimously to approve Norman Regional Health System’s plan to expand its HealthPlex hospital. This expansion is part of a larger plan called Inspire Health.
Changes Coming in January
Work on the Norman Regional HealthPlex will soon begin! Starting January 2021, dirt will start to move in preparation for construction slated to begin in May 2021. During the Make Ready phase, our current parking lots, main entrance and Emergency Department entrance will remain in use.
Parking Lot Changes During Construction
The Norman Regional HealthPlex will be in its Make-Ready for construction phase from January – May 2021.
Plans for 718 Building
Norman Regional is working with the City of Norman to trade or purchase land on the Norman Regional Porter campus. Part of that agreement will be the 718 Building, located at 718 N. Porter Ave. This building is currently the home of several support services and the Norman Regional Home Medical Equipment store. These services will be relocated in the future.

With Re-zoning Approved, Health System Moves Forward with Free-standing ER
On Tuesday July 28, 2020, The City Council of Norman approved the re-zoning of a 30- acre property located on the southwest corner of the intersection of Highway 9 and 24th Ave SE.
